Milestones
Your year on the road, counted
Every RVer has a rough idea of how far they went this year. RV Compass now keeps the real numbers for you: the miles you actually drove, the nights, the states, what it cost, and what your rig really gets to the gallon.
Every drive counts
Every drive you navigate with RV Compass is recorded, whether or not you rate the stay at the end. That feeds a Lifetime card with your total miles, hours, nights, states, and trips. Planned miles and driven miles are kept apart, so the numbers are honest about which is which.
Year in Review
Pick a year and see it laid out: miles driven (with the planned miles labeled next to them), a monthly chart, your top stay, your longest drive, the new states you reached, and the badges you earned. Years are counted in your home time zone, so a New Year's Eve drive lands where you'd expect. It's free.
Places visited
Places visited lists the stays you've been to and the states you've driven through. With Pro, it's a shaded map of the states, filled in as you go.
If you want the line on the map, turn on route recording. It's off until you turn it on. Your phone sends a trimmed, simplified track after each drive, and the driven line shows on the trip map. You can delete all recorded routes at any time.
Real MPG, real costs
Log a fill-up from the Garage in the app. RV Compass measures your MPG from full tank to full tank over your last five stretches, and Use measured puts that number on the rig, so fuel estimates and range use what your rig really gets.
Every trip has an expenses section, too: campground, fuel, toll, food, propane, maintenance, and other. Fill-ups on the trip become fuel lines on their own. You get totals by category, cost per mile on the miles you drove (or the planned miles before you go), and cost per night. The trip costs guide walks through it.
Take it with you
The stops CSV now has Arrived and Visited columns. With Pro, you can also export the routes you actually drove as GPX, one track per drive. See printing and exporting your itinerary for every export.
The numbers in the picture above are an example. Yours will be better.
