Privacy Policy

The short version

This website exists to tell you about RV Compass, built in Boerne, Texas. The only personal information you hand us directly is an email address — and only if you choose to join the waitlist. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site (details below), and nothing else. No advertising trackers, and nothing gets sold to anyone. Transparency is a brand pillar for us, and that starts here.

What we collect

• Waitlist email. If you submit the "notify me at launch" form, we store the email address you provide, with a timestamp.
• Usage analytics. Google Analytics tells us things like which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located, and what devices and browsers they use. It uses cookies to recognize returning visitors.
• Standard server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure may record technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and operations.

That's the whole list. We don't buy, sell, or trade personal information.

How we use it

The waitlist email is used to tell you when RV Compass launches. We said one email, and we meant it — if that ever changes (for example, occasional product updates), we'll only send more if you've opted in to more. Server logs are used only to keep the site running and secure.

Where it lives, and who else is involved

A few service providers process data on our behalf:

• Amazon Web Services hosts this website. Fonts and all page assets are served from our own hosting — no third-party font or CDN requests.
• Google stores waitlist submissions (Google Sheets) and provides our analytics (Google Analytics).

Each provider processes this data under its own privacy terms. None of them get your email for their own use.

Analytics & cookies

Google Analytics is the only thing on this site that sets cookies, and it's here so we can tell whether the site is doing its job — not to follow you around the internet. If you'd rather not be counted, blocking cookies for this site or using Google's opt-out browser add-on works fine — the site doesn't change or nag either way.

Your choices

Want off the waitlist, or want to know what we have about you? Email hello@rvcompass.app and we'll take care of it — removal included, no hoops.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has submitted an email address, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change — for example, when the RV Compass app launches with its own account system — we'll update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be called out plainly, not buried.
