About the show
The Wichita RV & Travel Show fills the Century II Expo Hall in downtown Wichita for one weekend each February. RJ Promotions, a Missouri company that runs boat, outdoor and RV shows across Kansas and Missouri, puts it on. The 2027 edition runs Friday, February 19 through Sunday, February 21.
What to expect
Expect a floor of RVs from dealers in the region, from small towables up to fifth wheels and motorhomes, along with booths for campgrounds, travel destinations and RV accessories. A winter show like this one is a good chance to compare several floor plans in one warm building before the camping season starts, and to talk through orders with dealers while you are there.
The Friday opening is at noon, so a weekday visit means a shorter day on the floor. Saturday has the longest hours, and Sunday closes in the late afternoon. RJ Promotions also runs a separate boat, fishing and hunting show in the same hall two weeks earlier, so check that you are buying tickets for the right weekend.
Before you go
As of late October 2026 the show page did not list admission prices or a ticket link. Check the official page in the weeks before the show for prices, the final exhibitor list and any change to the hours. The show's Facebook page is the other place the producer posts updates.

- 48.9°F
- Average low
- 26.3°F
- Precipitation
- 1.2 in

- 3.6 in
Nights in February usually drop below freezing here. If you camp, protect your fresh water hose and tanks, and bring layers for early mornings in the RV lot. Snow is common, so check road conditions before you drive the rig in.
Typical weather: NOAA 1991 to 2020 climate normals, measured at WICHITA, KS US, 5.9 miles from the venue.
Getting there and big-rig parking
RV parking not confirmed. Century II Expo Hall, Wichita, KS.
Confirmed: nothing. The producer's show page and 2027 show sheet do not say where visitors should park, and they do not mention RV, trailer or oversized parking or overnight stays.
Suggestion, not confirmed: Century II sits in downtown Wichita by the river, where parking is mostly city lots and garages laid out for cars. A 40 foot motorhome or a truck and fifth wheel will likely struggle with turning room and garage clearance there. The safer plan is to set up at a campground, then drive the tow vehicle or a toad downtown. If you must bring the rig, arrive early on a quieter day and look for a surface lot with pull-through room, and do not plan on staying overnight downtown.
Where to stay nearby
RV parks and campgrounds within 30 miles of the venue, with big-rig friendly sites first. Distances are straight-line miles.

Around Wichita
Century II sits on the east bank of the Arkansas River, and the riverside paths next to it lead a short walk north to the Keeper of the Plains, the tall steel sculpture at the meeting of the Arkansas and Little Arkansas rivers. The plaza around it is lit in the evening, which makes a good stop after the show floor closes.
Across the river, Exploration Place is a hands-on science center that suits families on a cold afternoon, and Botanica, the city's botanical garden, is nearby on the west side. Old Town, northeast of downtown, has brick warehouse streets with restaurants, a cinema and the Museum of World Treasures.
Wichita calls itself the Air Capital because of its long history of aircraft building, and the Kansas Aviation Museum in the old municipal airport terminal tells that story. The Sedgwick County Zoo, on the northwest side, is one of the larger zoos in the region and is easy to reach by car. In February some outdoor sites run shorter winter hours, so check before you go. For a quiet day out of town, Cheney State Park, about 25 miles west, has a big reservoir and campground loops with hookups.
Tips for visiting
- Wichita in February can bring ice or a dusting of snow, so check the forecast before towing in and allow extra time on bridges and ramps.
- Downtown lots around Century II suit cars and pickups; if you are in a long rig, plan to leave it at a campground and drive the tow vehicle in.
- Friday opens at noon and Saturday has the longest hours, so pick the day that gives you enough time to see every floor plan you care about.
- Bring your tow vehicle's ratings from the door sticker and owner's manual so you can rule out trailers that are too heavy before you fall for one.
