About the show
The Puyallup RV Show is the spring show of the MHRV Show Association, a western Washington group of RV and manufactured home businesses that has run consumer shows since 1966. It is held at the Washington State Fair Events Center, the fairgrounds in the middle of Puyallup that host the state fair every September, and most of the exhibit booths are indoors in the ShowPlex building. Unlike the association's Seattle show, this one adds manufactured housing to the mix, so you can tour a park model or a full home alongside the RVs.
When it runs
The association says the show takes place every year in late April or early May. The 2027 show runs Thursday, April 29, through Sunday, May 2, opening at 10 a.m. and closing at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. General admission is $17.
What to expect
Expect local dealers with travel trailers, fifth wheels, truck campers and motorhomes, plus vendors of RV accessories and services, mostly under one roof in the ShowPlex. Spring is a natural time to shop, with the camping season only weeks away.
Staying on the grounds
The real draw for RVers is that the fairgrounds run their own RV park year round, with full-hookup and dry sites. Reservations are required, so book early for the show weekend.

Getting there and big-rig parking
RV parking on site. Washington State Fair Events Center, 110 9th Ave SW, Puyallup, WA 98371.
Confirmed on the fairgrounds' RV camping page: the Washington State Fair Event Center runs its own RV park, with overnight RV parking available all year; the main park is at 1010 Fairview Drive. Advance reservations are required. Rates start at $45 a night with water, power and sewer in the off season, and special event rates start at $48 a night with hookups or $39 a night for dry camping. Check-in is 3:30 PM, check-out is 1:00 PM, each site holds one RV plus one vehicle, and a sealed sewer connection is required. Confirmed on the producer's Puyallup page: most exhibit booths are in the ShowPlex building.
Not confirmed: where day visitors driving a rig should park during the show, which gate leads to the ShowPlex, and how far the RV park is from the hall. Suggestion: book the RV park so the rig never has to hunt for a day lot, and if it is full, stay at an RV park in the Puyallup or Fife area and drive in with the tow vehicle.

Around Puyallup
Puyallup is a valley town in the shadow of Mount Rainier, and a spring trip here pairs well with time outdoors. The Foothills Trail, a paved rail trail, starts on the east side of town and follows the river valley toward Orting and South Prairie, with long, flat miles for bikes and dogs and big mountain views on clear days. In town, Pioneer Park and the Ezra Meeker Mansion, the restored Victorian home of the city's founder, are a short drive from the fairgrounds, and the downtown blocks along Meridian have cafes and shops.
Mount Rainier National Park is roughly an hour and a half away through Eatonville and the Nisqually entrance. In late April and early May the road up to Paradise is usually open while the high country is still deep in snow, so check road status before you go. Closer by, Tacoma's museums and the Point Defiance waterfront are about 20 minutes west.
Back at the fairgrounds, downtown Puyallup is only a few blocks north along Meridian, so dinner after the halls close can be a short walk rather than another drive.
Tips for visiting
- Reserve a site at the fairgrounds RV park early for the April 29 to May 2 show weekend; the park takes advance reservations only.
- Bring a sealed sewer hose connection, since the RV park requires one and fines open dumping.
- Check-in at the RV park starts at 3:30 PM, so arriving the afternoon before the show gives you a full first day on the floor.
- Pack layers and rain gear; spring days in the Puyallup Valley swing between sun and showers.
- The fairgrounds also host the Washington State Spring Fair in April, so check its dates in case traffic or campsites overlap with your visit.
