About the show
The Oregon State Salem Spring RV Show is a four-day, multi-dealer RV sale held each winter at the Oregon State Fair & Expo Center in Salem. The 2027 edition, set for February 4 to 7, is billed as the 49th, and the show traces its start to 1978. Westlake Promotion produces it, and the same company runs a fall RV show on the same grounds.
What to expect
Willamette Valley dealers bring new and used inventory to two full exhibit buildings and a large outdoor display area of about 200,000 square feet. Dealers listed for the coming show include Highway Trailer Sales, Roberson RV Center, Power RV, RV Corral, RV Outlet and Broadway Motors, so the mix runs from compact towables and camper vans to fifth wheels and motorhomes. The show suggests calling the dealers directly to learn which makes and models they plan to bring.
On the 2026 show map the indoor displays filled Columbia Hall and the Jackman-Long Building, with units also parked outside between them.
Why go
Seeing several dealers' stock side by side saves a day of driving between lots, and a February date gives buyers time to take delivery, sort out storage and plan trips before spring. One paid admission covers all four days, so you can tour on Thursday, sleep on it, and come back on Sunday to talk numbers.
Before you go
Admission and parking are paid in cash at the gate, and an ATM with a fee is on site. The show offers a discount sign-up on its website that sends a ticket link a couple of weeks before opening day.

Getting there and big-rig parking
RV parking not confirmed. Oregon State Fair & Expo Center, 2330 17th St. NE, Salem, OR 97303.
Confirmed on the official show page: parking costs $5, paid in cash, and the show points drivers to the Expo Center from I-5 with freeway signs. The address is 2330 17th St. NE in Salem. The 2026 show map placed the indoor displays in Columbia Hall and the Jackman-Long Building.
Not published: a dedicated lot for motorhomes or trucks with fifth wheels, which entrance oversized vehicles should use, and any overnight parking rules. The Expo Center's own website returned a security checkpoint, so its parking and RV pages were not read.
Suggestion, not confirmed: if you bring a 40 foot motorhome or a truck and fifth wheel, arrive at the 10 a.m. opening on a weekday, when lots are emptiest, and ask the parking attendants where long vehicles should go. A simpler plan is to stay at one of the RV parks a mile or two away in northeast Salem, unhitch, and drive in with the tow vehicle or a toad. If the lots fill on Saturday, come back Sunday morning; your ticket is still good.

- VP, fuel for big rigs in Woodburn, 14.6 miles away
- Shell, fuel for big rigs in McMinnville, 19 miles away
- Diesel: a Pilot travel center and a truck fuel stop at the I-5 Brooks exit, about 6 miles north of the fairgrounds.

- RV repair: no RV repair shop turned up nearby in map data; ask the dealers at the show for a service referral.
- Groceries: Walmart Supercenter and Safeway on Lancaster Drive NE and Fred Meyer on Market Street NE, all about a mile from the fairgrounds.
Around Salem
Salem is Oregon's capital and sits in the middle of the Willamette Valley, so there is plenty to fill a day before or after the show, even in February.
Downtown is a short drive from the fairgrounds. The Oregon State Capitol and its grounds are worth a walk, and Riverfront Park along the Willamette River has paved paths and a historic carousel that runs year round. Parking downtown is tight for a big rig, so leave the trailer at camp.
Silver Falls State Park, about 20 miles east, is the best-known outing from Salem. Its Trail of Ten Falls loop passes behind several waterfalls, and winter rain means the falls run at full strength. The park roads are paved and suit most rigs, though they wind through the hills.
The valley is wine country, with tasting rooms west of Salem in the Eola-Amity Hills and north toward Dayton and McMinnville. In McMinnville, about 25 miles north, the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum has big aircraft indoors, which makes it a good rainy-day stop. Closer in, the Oregon Garden in Silverton is a quiet place for a walk on a dry afternoon.
Tips for visiting
- Bring cash for both admission and the $5 parking fee; the gate is cash only and the on-site ATM charges a fee.
- Keep your ticket: one admission is good for all four days, so plan a first look on Thursday or Friday and a return visit later.
- Dress for the outdoor displays, since a good share of the units sit outside and February in Salem is usually cool and wet.
- Call the dealers listed on the show page before you go if you want a specific floor plan or a long fifth wheel, since not every unit on a lot makes the trip.
- If you are towing or driving a large rig, book a nearby RV park and come in with a smaller vehicle, because the show does not publish where big rigs should park.
