About the show
The Houston RV Show fills NRG Center, the big exhibit hall at NRG Park next to the Astrodome, each February. The 2027 edition is set for February 10 to 13. The show's homepage still calls the building by its old name, Reliant Center.
Five Houston-area dealers own the show together through Houston RV Show, LLC, and the Texas RV Association, the state's nonprofit dealer trade group, manages it. In 2026 those owners were Topper's RVs, Lone Star RV, DeMontrond RV, Ron Hoover RV & Marine and Holiday World RV. Each runs several stores around the region, and the organizers aim to put 300 to 400 units on the floor.
What to expect
Towables take up most of the space, since travel trailers and fifth wheels sell far better in Texas than motorhomes, but expect some Class A and Class C coaches as well. Every unit is new: dealers bring leftover stock from the current model year along with next year's models. Each dealer arranges its own block of floor space, so similar floor plans can sit at opposite ends of the hall. The printed show guide handed out at the door lists dealers, locations and units.
Before you go
Hours and ticket prices for 2027 had not been posted when this page was last checked. For reference, 2026 adult admission was $20, with lower prices for children, seniors, military, first responders and RV club members. Tickets and NRG parking are card only, and parking is a separate charge set by NRG. Only service dogs are allowed inside.

Getting there and big-rig parking
RV parking not confirmed. NRG Center, 1 NRG Park, Houston, TX 77054.
Confirmed on the show's tickets page: for the 2026 show NRG charged $25 plus tax for parking, with no exceptions and card payment only. The page links to an online event parking seller for NRG Park. Neither the show's pages nor anything we could read from the venue says whether motorhomes, trailers or other oversized vehicles may park for the show, which lot they would use, or whether overnight parking is allowed.
Suggestion, not confirmed: NRG Park is ringed by large surface lots between Kirby Drive, Fannin Street and the South Loop (I-610), but without a stated rule, a 40 foot motorhome or a truck and fifth wheel is safer left at an RV park a couple of miles away. South Main RV Park and Medical Center RV Resort are both within about 2.5 miles. Drive the tow vehicle or toad to the show, and assume no overnight parking on the NRG lots.

Plan your trip to Houston RV Show in RV CompassFuel and dump stations nearby
- Chevron, fuel for big rigs, 3.6 miles away
- Chevron, fuel for big rigs, 4.2 miles away
- Diesel with truck lanes: a Love's travel stop north of downtown Houston, about 8 miles north, and Love's and Pilot travel centers on the east side near I-10, about 11 miles away.
- Fuel for RVs (no semis): Buc-ee's on Shadow Creek Parkway in Pearland, about 8 miles south.
- Dump station: none confirmed near NRG Park; ask the RV parks along South Main Street and Holmes Road whether they offer a paid dump.
- RV repair: the five dealers that own the show run service departments at stores around Greater Houston; call ahead, since service bays are busy in the weeks around the show.
- Groceries: Kroger and Fiesta Mart on Kirby Drive, both under a mile from NRG Park, and an H-E-B on Buffalo Speedway about 3 miles west.
Around Houston
NRG Park sits in south central Houston, a few minutes from the Texas Medical Center, and the METRORail Red Line stops right at the park. That makes it easy to leave the truck parked and ride north to the Museum District, Midtown and downtown.
Hermann Park is the closest big outing. It holds the Houston Zoo, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, a Japanese garden, McGovern Centennial Gardens and a pedal boat lake, and the surrounding Museum District has nearly two dozen museums, several with free admission on certain days. Farther north, Buffalo Bayou Park has miles of paved paths along the water near downtown.
For a full day trip, Space Center Houston, NASA's visitor center at Johnson Space Center, is about 25 miles southeast near Clear Lake, and Galveston Island's seawall and historic Strand district are about 50 miles down I-45. February is a good month for both, before the spring crowds and summer heat. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo usually takes over NRG Park a few weeks after the RV show, so check its dates if you plan to stay in the area into March.
Tips for visiting
- Bring a credit or debit card: since 2025 the NRG box office takes no cash for tickets, and NRG parking is card only too.
- Budget for parking on top of admission; for the 2026 show NRG charged $25 plus tax per vehicle, a venue rule the show cannot waive.
- The official pages say nothing about parking RVs at NRG Park, so plan to leave a motorhome or fifth wheel at an RV park nearby and drive the tow vehicle or toad in.
- Watch the official tickets page for weekday deals; in 2026 the opening Wednesday was buy one, get one, and the daily specials had to be bought at the NRG box office.
- Carry ID if you qualify for the senior, military, first responder or RV club price, because proof is required.
- Call the dealer before the show if you are after a particular floor plan, since units can sell before setup day.
