About the show

The California RV Supershow fills part of the Fairplex campus in Pomona with RVs from Southern California dealers for one weekend in March. The 2027 show runs Friday, March 19 through Sunday, March 21. Doors open at 10 a.m. each day and close at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The floor plan places dealer displays inside several Fairplex exhibit buildings and on the open ground between them, with a strip set aside for pre-owned demo motorhomes and a line of vendor tents for accessories and services. The dealers listed for 2027 range from large multi-brand stores to an Airstream dealer, so there is a wide spread of towables and motorhomes to compare in one place.

What to expect

The producer brings the same extras to each of its shows. There are free seminars on buying and living in an RV, a hands-on towing course led by certified technicians, a stunt dog show, a Spider-Man meet and greet and a coloring book for kids. Each ticket includes a six-month trial of The Dyrt PRO camping app.

Tickets and parking

Admission is $15 with fees included and is sold online. Kids 16 and under are free. On-site parking costs $25, and a free shuttle runs from the lot to the main gate. If you buy an RV from an exhibiting dealer at the show, the dealer credits your admission on the deal.

Getting there and big-rig parking

RV parking on site. Fairplex, 1101 W McKinley Ave, Pomona, CA 91768.

Confirmed on the show page: on-site parking costs $25, and a free shuttle carries visitors from the parking lot to the main gate. Confirmed on the Fairplex website: Fairplex RV Park sits next to the fairgrounds and has 183 full hookup sites with 50 and 30 amp service. The show page does not say which lot or gate oversized vehicles should use, and it says nothing about overnight parking in the show lot.

Suggestion, not confirmed: the simplest plan for a 40 foot motorhome or a truck and fifth wheel is to reserve a site at Fairplex RV Park for the weekend and ask the park staff how to reach the show entrance from there. Coming for the day only, arrive near the 10 a.m. opening on Friday and ask the lot attendants where long vehicles should go before you commit to a row. The streets around Fairplex are busy, so allow extra time and avoid weekday rush hours on the nearby freeways.

Around Pomona

Pomona sits at the eastern edge of Los Angeles County, close to the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, and March is a comfortable month to explore it.

Close to the fairgrounds

Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas wraps around Puddingstone Reservoir just west of Fairplex, with lakeside paths, picnic areas and fishing. The NHRA Motorsports Museum on the Fairplex grounds is a good stop for anyone who likes vintage race cars and drag racing history.

Nearby towns

Claremont, a few miles north, has a walkable village of cafes and shops near its colleges, and the California Botanic Garden there shows off native plants, many of them in bloom in early spring. Old Route 66 runs through the area as Foothill Boulevard, with classic diners and roadside signs along the way.

Mountains

Mount Baldy rises above the valley to the north and can still have snow in March. The road up is steep and winding with tight turns, so leave the big rig at camp and make the drive in a smaller vehicle.

Tips for visiting

  • Buy tickets online before the show, since the show page lists admission as online only.
  • Budget $25 for on-site parking and ride the free shuttle to the main gate instead of walking across the lot.
  • In a big rig, think about booking Fairplex RV Park on the same campus so the rig never has to squeeze into the day lot.
  • Sunday closes two hours earlier than Friday and Saturday, so save long dealer conversations for the first two days.
  • Know your truck's payload and towing ratings before you start comparing fifth wheels and toy haulers.
